Every Street United Episode 7 Review

"Meet the Teams"

Episode

We have hit the penultimate episode of Every Street United with team selection finally being done. Right off the start we are greeted to a quick recap of these players and their unique skills from which we are given the teams that had been divided between the soccer legends Thierry Henry and Edgar Davids. Quite honestly right from selection I got an idea of the teams with one being Spanish speaking and the other being made up of better skill sets despite speaking various languages. There were also a lot of clashes happening with these teams being picked which caused some good drama for the show. It was rather interesting seeing the teams being taught two particular ways of play with one aiming for the more defensive approach whereas the other was all offense. These play styles made sense for each team and I really think the offensive diamond as the right players to make it work perfectly to crush the Spanish speaking teams defenses. I was only slightly disappointed not to really see much play today though I get that it was meant as a direct setup for the final match.

The Conclusion

This episode was quite a weak one in comparison to past episodes, but did a good job at highlighting the language barriers the teams would face as they tried to work together. There just wasn't much of anything going on within the time frame and little to no play. Emotions ran high as there was frustrations on one team with the other team just being blank with the one individual being injured. Still I feel confident in Nabil's team to win as he is my pick and the teams divided relatively into what I had predicted. I saw noticed of someone sitting on Nabil and he may be injured in the finale, but whom knows as it's a preview to build up excitement. I look forward the finale and cheering on my selected team in the finale episode. See you next Sunday for the final episode in Every Street United!
